- 2 sticks soft butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. poppy seed
- 1 pkg. sliced Swiss cheese
- 1 large loaf French or Italian bread
Directions

1Mix first 4 ingredients in saucepan over low heat.

2Slice bread in half lengthways.

3Spread mixture on both sides of inside of bread.

4Put Swiss cheese on each side of bread.

5Put both sides of bread back together and spread butter mixture on top and sides of bread.

6Wrap loosely in foil; bake for 20 minutes at 350°.

7Fold foil back and bake another 5 minutes; serve warm.
