- 1 loaf Italian bread, unsliced
- 1 lb. Swiss cheese, sliced thin
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. poppy seed
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 can mushrooms (optional)
Directions

1Slice bread diagonally. Place Swiss cheese in every slice. Put bread on foil on cookie sheet.

2Mix the remaining ingredients with the melted butter.

3Pour over bread.

4Seal foil. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.

5Serve warm.
