  • 2 lb. round steak (1 inch thick)
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. shortening
  • 2 onions, peeled and sliced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, cut fine
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. tomatoes or 1/2 c. chili sauce and 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced

Directions

    Pound flour into both sides of steak.

    Preheat electric skillet to 360°.

    Add 2 tablespoons shortening.

    Add onions and saute until golden brown.

    Remove from skillet and set aside.
