- 1 to 2 lb. round steak
- 1 c. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 6 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
Directions

1Season steak with salt and pepper.

2Roll in flour.

3Saute in oil until brown.

4Remove from skillet.

5Stir in remaining flour and cook until brown.

6Pat steak and vegetables in skillet and add 1 cup water.

7Simmer for 2 hours or until steak and vegetables are tender.
