- 3 lb. round steak, cut in serving size pieces
- 1/2 c. flour
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 c. shortening or oil
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 envelope dried onion soup mix
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 soup can water
Directions

1Combine flour, salt and pepper; dredge steak in flor and pound meat.

2Brown meat on both sides in hot shortening or oil.

3Put meat in a roasting pan.

4Combine rest of ingredients and pour over meat.

5Cover.

6Bake in a 350° oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.

7Serve with mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.
