Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 2 c. canned tomatoes, mashed
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Directions

1Mix dry mustard, salt and pepper with flour and pound into steak.

2Melt shortening on medium heat and brown on both sides. Place in a baking dish.

3Combine onions, tomatoes, sauce and brown sugar.

4Pour over steak and bake in 325° oven for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.

5Serves 6 to 8
