  • 2 lb. round steak
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped

Directions

    Cut steak into serving pieces. Mix flour, salt and pepper; pound into steak. Brown steak in oil on both sides. Mix remaining ingredients; heat to boiling. Pour sauce over steak. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Yields 4 servings.
