- 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. frying fat
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. round steak (1 1/2-inches thick)
- 1 1/2 c. onions, sliced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
Directions

1Mix mustard, salt, pepper and flour.

2Dredge steak in mixture. Brown well in fat.

3Put into roasting dish and sprinkle meat with onions, carrots, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and tomatoes. Cover.

4Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
