- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 lb. steak or venison
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 medium onion
- 1 small green pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
- 2 c. beef bouillon
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Using mallet, pound flour into both sides of steak.

2Saute steak in butter in large skillet over high heat.

3Quickly brown both sides.

4Place steak in large pot.

5Arrange vegetables on steak.

6Add skillet drippings, consomme and seasonings.

7Simmer, tightly covered, for about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over rice or broad noodles.

8Yields 4 servings.
