- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. finely chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 boxes frozen French-cut beans
- 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. slightly crushed croutons or bread crumbs
Directions

1Thaw beans.

2Melt 1 tablespoon butter in pan.

3Add flour and stir in sour cream.

4Cook until thick or bubbly; add onion, salt and pepper.

5Fold in beans.

6Place into 9-inch square casserole dish.

7Add grated cheese to top and cover with bread crumbs.

8Pour 1 tablespoon melted butter on top.

9Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes.

10Double recipe for 9 x 13-inch pan.
