Ingredients
- 2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. yeast (compressed or active dry)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 5 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Measure warm water in a bowl.

2Crumble in yeast; stir to dissolve.

3Add salt, sugar and oil.

4Stir in 1/2 flour.

5Beat until smooth.

6Add remaining flour.
-
7Knead until smooth.

8Place dough, smooth side down, in a greased bowl.

9Turn to grease all sides.
-
10Cover; let rise 45 minutes.

11Press down and let rise 15 more minutes.

12Divide in 4 parts.

13Flatten with knuckles.
-
14Let rise 20 or 30 minutes.
-
15Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 375°.
