- 1 1/2 c. shelled roasted peanuts
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Chop peanuts, then sprinkle with salt and warm in the oven. Mix sugar, syrup and water together, stirring until sugar is dissolved.

2Cook over moderate heat until thermometer registers 265° or a small amount of mixture forms a hard ball in cold water. Add butter.

3Cook slowly to 290°.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in warm nuts and vanilla.

6Pour on greased baking pan in thin sheet.
