Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 small can chopped olives
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. corn meal
  • 1 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls (8)
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 to 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    In skillet, brown ground beef and onions; drain.

    Stir in olives, tomato sauce and taco seasoning.

    Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles.

    Place in 8-inch pie pan or rectangular pan. Press rolls on bottom and sides of pan.

    Sprinkle corn meal over rolls.

    Spoon meat mixture over corn meal.

    Spread sour cream on top of meat, then sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crust is brown and cheese is bubbly.

    Serve with sliced lettuce, tomato and avocado.
