  • 1 lb. lean ground beef or pork
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
  • 1 medium head lettuce
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 to 1 c. thinly sliced onion
  • 1/2 to 1 c. thinly sliced green pepper
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 c. coarsely broken corn chips
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle Western style salad dressing

Directions

    Crumble ground beef or pork into 2-quart glass casserole. Microwave on High for 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring once to break up meat.

    Add taco seasoning mix and kidney beans.

    Microwave on High for 10 to 11 minutes or until flavors are blended, stirring twice.

    Let stand about 10 minutes to cool slightly.
