  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 3 to 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • head of lettuce, shredded
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • black olives, onions or jalapenos (for garnish)
  • 44 oz. peeled tomatoes
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 Tbsp. pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp. cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. dried onions
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano powder
  • 1/8 tsp. sage, powdered
  • 1/4 c. water

    Mix 3/4 of the tomatoes well at high speed in the mixer. Rejuvenate the dried onions in 1/4 cup water (hot).

    Place the remaining 1/4 of the tomatoes in the mixer, together with all ingredients, except the flour and oil.

    Beat this mixture well; put it in a pan with the rest of the tomatoes.

    Cook this mixture for 5 minutes, checking to see if there is enough salt and pepper from time to time.

    Add as necessary.
