Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck, browned and drained
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 (4 oz.) cans green chilies, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 oz.) can lima beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can hominy, drained
  • 3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix

Directions

    Brown meat and onion together; drain. Add remaining ingredients to meat and simmer for 30 minutes. Before serving, shred Cheddar cheese on top and serve with tortilla chips.
