Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (15 to 16 oz.) can pinto beans
  • 1 (15 to 16 oz.) can lima beans
  • 1 (15 to 16 oz.) can red kidney beans
  • 1 can hominy, drained and rinsed
  • 3 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 3 cans chopped green chili peppers
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix (original)
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 can tomato sauce

Directions

    In large Dutch oven, brown beef and onion.

    Drain fat.

    Add all ingredients and bring to boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer, at least 30 minutes.

    Serve with shredded cheese and tortilla chips.
