  • 6 (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1/2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 small can refried beans
  • 1 pkg. dry taco mix
  • 1 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 1 small can sliced black olives
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. shredded lettuce
  • 2 medium avocados
  • 1/4 c. pico taco sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

Directions

    Deep fry the flour tortillas and form in the shape of a rectangle taco shell.

    (Fry both sides of tortilla and fold in half.)

    Brown turkey meat in frying pan; when browned, add in beans and dry taco mix.

    This mixture will be used for the filling of the tacorito.

    Chop the tomatoes; shred the cheese and shred the lettuce.

    Put these in separate bowls for garnishing the tacorito.

    Also, put the olives in a separate bowl.

    The tacorito can be topped with the ingredients, with guacamole and sour cream on the top.
