Directions

   Boil first syrup, sugar and butter with vinegar.

   Boil to hard boil stage.

   Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla.

   Pour into greased cake pan or cookie sheet.

   Let stand until cool enough to handle.

   Pull until white, twist into ropes and cut into pieces.
