Ingredients
- 5 lbs. white sugar
- 5 lbs. Karo (white or possibly dark)
- 1 pt. water
Directions

1Put in LARGE pan (cool packer is nice).

2Stir and cook to 240 degrees.

3Add in butter the size of 2 Large eggs, paraffin the size of 1 egg, 1 1/2 sheets gelatin that has been softened in a little hot water.

4Cook to 255 degrees.

5Remove from heat and pour 1 dram bottle flavor oil (your choice) and stir.

6Let cold a little while and use buttered knife to pull away from edges allowing hotter from the middle to cold at the edge.

7When cold sufficient to handle butter your hands and pull taffy till you cannot pull anymore.

8Make into a long rope and put on powdered sugared table and crack in pcs.

9Takes several people to pull.
