Ingredients
- 200 grams butter
- 70 grams sugar (or more, depending on taste)
- 125 grams flour
- 1 egg
- dash vanilla extract (optional)
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.

2Add the egg and combine well.

3Sift in flour in two batches until the mixture forms into a soft dough.

4Store the dough in the fridge for half an hour.

5Mould and poke the bottom with a fork to prevent breakage.

6Bake in preheated oven at 200C for ten to fifteen minutes or until golden brown.

7Chill in fridge overnight for best results.
