  • 1/2 lb. coarsely chopped nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. sifted plain flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Stir in dates, nuts and vanilla.

    Bake at 275° for about 1 1/2 hours.
