- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Beat in egg and vanilla.

3Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

4Stir into a cream mixture.

5Make about 5 dozen small cookies.

6Chill dough for 1 hour.

7Roll out cookies, place on lightly greased cookie sheet.

8Bake in 350° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
