  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Cream together sugar and butter.

    Add eggs and vanilla.

    Mix together flour, salt and soda.

    Add flour mixture gradually to the creamed mixture.

    Roll out on floured board.

    Cut with cookie cutter.

    Bake at 425° for about 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 6 dozen.
