- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 c. chopped, blanched almonds
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 large egg whites
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Sift flour and baking powder together.

3Add to first mixture alternately with milk.

4Add well-floured nuts and almonds.

5Add stiffly beaten egg whites to which salt has been added.

6Bake in cupcake or mini cupcake pans at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
