- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 c. sour cream
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add all dry ingredients. Alternate with sour cream, mixing well after each addition. Chill several hours or overnight.

3On lightly floured board, roll out dough to 1/4-inch thick.

4Cut out.

5Place on greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg.

6Bake in a 450° oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
