  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 5 Tbsp. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. lemon or vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 7 c. plain flour (approximately)

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, soda, baking powder and extract, then add milk and flour.

    Add in small amounts until dough is stiff enough to roll.

    Roll out and cut as desired.

    Bake at 300° to 325° until lightly browned.
