- 1 c. butter
- 3 eggs
- 5 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar.

2Add eggs and milk; beat well. Combine flour and soda.

3Add to mixture.

4Blend.

5Add vanilla. Chill 1 hour.

6Roll dough 1/4 inch thick.

7Cut and place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheet.

8Sprinkle with sugar (optional). Bake at 400° for 7 to 8 minutes.
