  • 1 Tbsp. melted oleo or shortening
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream the fat with the sugar.

    Add the beaten egg; then add milk alternately with the sifted flour and other ingredients. Lastly add the floured nuts.

    Bake in greased muffin pans at 400° to 425° for 20 minutes.
