- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- dash of salt
- dash of baking powder
- 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
- powdered sugar for dusting
Directions

1Mix together in bowl butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.

2Add vanilla.

3Blend together flour, salt and baking powder.

4Add flour mixture to butter mixture, blending well.

5Add chopped nuts.

6Roll dough out into two balls.

7Wrap in plastic wrap.

8Chill for 1 hour in refrigerator.

9Flatten dough out and cut into 15 to 16 equal size pieces.

10Shape into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.

11Bake at 375° to 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.

12While still warm, roll into powdered sugar.
