- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 ounces beer flattened
Directions

1Pour the flour, cornstarch, sugar, oil and baking powder into a mixing bowl.

2Add the flat beer slowly, bringing the consistency of the batter to that of a pancake batter. (Normally about 3/4 of a cup of beer).

3From here anything you want to deep fry is fair game.

4Wash and pat dry the fryables.

5This will help to keep the oil from foaming.

6Coat with the batter and drop into hot oil.

7The batter will fluff.

8If it fluffs but has holes in it the beer wasn't flat enough.
