- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Add butter, sugar and salt to scalded milk.

2Stir to mix well. Let cool to lukewarm.

3Add yeast to cooled milk mixture; stir until dissolved.

4Add 1 cup flour; beat with rotary beater until well blended.

5Add eggs; beat until smooth.

6Mix in remaining flour until thoroughly blended.

7Cover and let rest for 5 minutes.

8Knead for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.

9Place in greased bowl. Let rise in warm place until double in bulk.
