- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon tequila
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
Directions

1Grease a 9x13 pan.

2Heat butter and one cup of chips in a 3 quart sauce pan over low heat , stirring constantly, until melted.

3Stir in sugar, flour, tequila, baking powder, salt and eggs, until combined.

4Spread mixture in the pan and sprinkle with remaining chips and nuts.

5Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until the center is set.

6Cool completely before cutting into desired sized squares.

7Store in an airtight container.
