Tex-Mex Cabbage

- 1 medium cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 c. canned tomatoes, drained
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cut cabbage in small pieces. Cook about 10 minutes or until tender, but crisp.

2Put in greased casserole. Saute onion and green pepper in melted margarine; add sugar.

3Add tomatoes, salt and pepper.

4Pour mixture over cabbage.

5Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° until heated thoroughly.

6Makes approximately 8 servings.
