Ingredients

  • 3 medium ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt or more to taste
  • 4 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 2 (10 oz.) cans jalapeno bean dip
  • 1 large bunch green onions, chopped
  • 3 medium size tomatoes, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 2 (3 1/2 oz.) cans pitted ripe olives, drained and coarsely chopped
  • 16 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • round tortilla chips

Directions

    In medium size bowl, mash avocados.

    Add lemon juice, salt, Tabasco sauce and pepper.

    In another bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco mix.

    In a 9 x 13-inch glass casserole, spread the bean dip in a layer.

    Next, spread the avocado mixture, then the sour cream mixture.

    Sprinkle with the green onions, chopped tomatoes and chopped olives.

    Cover top with the cheese. Refrigerate until serving time.

    Use tortilla chips for dipping.
