- 5 lb. beef brisket
- unseasoned meat tenderizer
- 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. Texas Barbecue Sauce
Directions

1Place brisket in large glass baking dish.

2Sprinkle meat with tenderizer.

3Combine all remaining ingredients except Barbecue Sauce and rub on meat.

4Cover and refrigerate the brisket overnight.

5Bake at 250° for 5 hours, covered.

6Add water if liquid is needed.

7Pour Texas Barbecue Sauce over brisket and cook 1 hour longer.

8Let stand for 15 minutes, then slice thinly across the grain.
