  • 1 qt. pure water
  • 1 qt. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 2 heads dill
  • 4 whole allspice
  • 1 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper

Directions

    Mix water, vinegar and salt well.

    Put in quart jars the dill, allspice, mustard and red pepper.

    Pack pickles loose in jars. Pour cold brine over pickles.

    Put on lids and put into boiling water for 3 minutes.

    Take out and tighten lids down.
