- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1/2 c. washed, uncooked rice or 2 c. uncooked noodles
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1In skillet, cook onions, pepper and garlic in oil until onions are transparent.

2Add the ground beef and fry until mixture gets crumbly.

3Stir in remaining ingredients.

4Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.

5Cover and bake 1 hour in 350° oven.

6Remove cover the last 15 minutes of cooking.
