- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 1 large green pepper
- 1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
- 1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
- 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Heat the oven to 350°.

2In a large skillet, cook and stir ground beef, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and vegetables are tender.

3Drain off fat.

4Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper; heat thoroughly.

5Pour into an ungreased 2-quart casserole.

6Cover and bake 1 hour.

7Yields 4 to 6 servings.
