  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. dark Karo syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. Pet evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla
  • 1 c. shelled pecans halves (Texas pecans are the beat)
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour and salt together.

    Stir in syrup.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time.

    Mix in milk, vanilla and pecans.

    Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie crust and bake at 375° for 50 minutes, or until a silver table knife comes out clean when inserted into middle of pie.
