  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil.

    Mix together remaining ingredients, then add boiled mixture and stir.

    Pour on a greased and floured jelly roll sheet (cookie sheet with sides).

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
