  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk (or sour)*

Directions

    Bring to boil margarine, oil, water and cocoa.

    Mix flour and sugar; add eggs, vanilla, soda and buttermilk.

    Pour on cookie sheet; bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
