Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix together the flour, sugar, salt and soda.

2In a saucepan bring to a boil the margarine, oil, cocoa and water.

3Pour the cocoa mixture over the flour mixture.

4Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.

5Mix all ingredients together.

6Pour batter into a greased jelly roll pan and bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

7Pour frosting over cake while it is in the pan and as soon as it is removed from the oven.
