  • 12 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 13 cup shortening, melted
  • cream style corn
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (6 ounce) can green chilies, chopped and drained
  • 1 cup cheese, grated

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except chiles and cheese.

    Pour half batter into a 9 X 9 pan.

    Make a layer with half the chiles, sprinkle with haf.

    Add remaining batter and top with remaining chiles and add remaining cheese.

    Bake for 45 min at 400* or until firm and golden brown.
