- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. maraschino cherries, halved
- 1 c. cut up, pitted dates
- 1 c. blanched almonds
- 2 c. walnut pieces
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Lightly grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

2Line with waxed paper and grease the paper.

3Mix fruits and nuts in a large mixing bowl.

4Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar over mixture; toss to coat all nuts and fruits with flour.

5Set aside. Beat eggs until foamy, then add vanilla.

6Pour over fruit mixture and stir just until blended.

7Pour into prepared loaf pan.

8Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.

9Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
