   Rinse a martini glass with the absinthe and leave the remains in the glass

   Add everything except the grapefruit to a shaker with ice and shake/swirl until the shaker is too cold to hold.

   Pour the strained liquid into the martini glass.

   Try and release the oils of the grapefruit skin as you put it in the drink. You should see a little oil floating on the top of your liquid.
