  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. Rice Krispies

Directions

    Cream butter and sugars together in large bowl.

    Add vanilla, oil and egg.

    Sift together baking soda, cream of tartar and flour and add; then add oats, coconut and Rice Krispies.

    Drop by spoonful onto ungreased baking sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
