- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped green pepper
- 4 cans hot chili beans
- 3 pt. tomato juice
- dash of paprika
- dash of red pepper
- 4 Tbsp. chili powder
- 10 whole cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Brown beef, onion and green pepper.

2Drain.

3Add salt and pepper to taste.

4In a large kettle, mix beans, juice, paprika, red pepper and chili powder.

5Tie cloves and bay leaf in a piece of cheesecloth and add to juice bean mixture.

6Add browned ingredients to juice bean mixture.

7Mix all ingredients well.

8Let all ingredients simmer over medium heat for 1 hour.
