- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans, drained
- 1 Tbsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Crumble ground beef into Dutch oven.

2Add onion, garlic and bell pepper.

3Cook until beef is brown and vegetables are tender; stir frequently.

4Add remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.

5Add kidney beans and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
