Ingredients
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. Dr. Pepper
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (16 oz.) can French-cut green beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can cut yellow wax beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
- 1 large red onion, sliced thin
Directions

1Drain beans well.

2Slice onion thinly and separate into rings. Combine vinegar, oil, Dr. Pepper, sugar, salt and pepper.

3Shake vigorously.

4Place drained vegetables and onion rings in a bowl. Pour the dressing over them and toss lightly.

5Cover tightly and refrigerate.

6Let stand approximately 24 hours, tossing together occasionally.

7Serve on lettuce leaf or bed of salad greens. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
